let me evaluate the night hahaha.

things i'm satisfied with:

1) decorations (thank you to everyone who helped, including uncle kim soon, rachel, my sister, tianshun, and baby)

i should have taken more photos of the decorations!

2) my dress (although my sisters think i was going to prom night but i think it's a nice dress bought just one day before hahaha. cheap too!)

3) the cake (okay lah, the colour didn't turn out as nice as expected but it's still my dream 2-tier cake :D)

4) my friends who came and the wonderful presents :D (i know it was a little hard to get to nsrcc and some of you live in the west so it was quite sian to travel back :( so sorry but thank you all so much for coming down still!! :D)

things i'm not satisfied with:

1) the turn-out rate in the end (some people who said they could come but disappeared with no reasons and didn't even inform :( some people who said maybe didn't bother to confirm with me in the end :( some best, invite twice still no reply. sigh.. my family was still asking me why there weren't many friends.. so sad!)

2) no chairs?! (ordered stools from buffet caterer but they took so long to deliver them here. in the end there wasn't enough stools still, so we got more from the club itself. $1/chair T_T my mum got 10 more but in the end no more friends came O_O not my fault what, they just disappeared. in the end i got niamed at for wasting money. sigh.. my bad for having irresponsible friends huh)

3) poor aircon (wonder whats wrong with the lousy aircon.. 16degc but all of us were still melting in the chalet. everyone felt sticky! so sorryyyy T_T)

4) mahjong people were so engrossed in their game that it was hard to even get them to pause their game and join the cake cutting session -_- plus, they smoked so much and put all my friends at risk of getting lung cancer :(

5) buffet (i thought it would be nice but it turned out to be terrible :( *cries*)

6) forgot my party poppers, sparklers, bubbles, etc! (was so busy that i forgot to use some of the party stuffs that i bought.. :( resources and money wasted)

7) i didn't get to go swimming / jacuzzi-ing! (too busy.. sigh)

all in all, what i like most about the party is the fact that i had a party.. haha.. all along i wanted to have my own birthday party. i remember when i was young i would bug my dad to buy party stuffs for me coz i wanted to have a party but all he would buy for me was a small packet of miscellanous party items. hahaha. it was a dream-come-true to see a place all decorated for me to celebrate my birthday (:

it was hard on my family especially my parents. my mum was so busily preparing food for BBQ the night before the party i think she skipped meals. my dad also, for being the chauffeur as always, ferrying us from home to chalet, chalet to home, then chalet to thong chai and thong chai to chalet for me hahaha..
